Going to the movies has been part of our “going out” staple diet for years. Ever since the silver screen was born, we have, along with dozens of other moviegoers, sat and watched frame after frame, while stuffing our happy faces with popcorn and sweets. What’s not to love, right? Well, since Covid-19 happened, times have changed. Social Distancing has become the norm and so whilst that does mean some changes, it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to sacrifice a much-loved experience.

Just imagine you can show how well you’ve been paying attention to your partner, or best friend by surprising them with their all-time favorite film. All you need to do is choose your venue, and movie. Everything else will be taken care of. Your backyard is the perfect backdrop to set up, and seeing that we are lucky to be blessed with an awesome climate, an outdoor event couldn’t be better.
A technician will arrive at an agreed time to set up the projector, sound system and large inflatable screen. In the event the weather turns, there is a large indoor screen to accommodate you. Two backrests are included for your use. The technician is available for a full four hours should you need them to stay, or if you prefer, they can leave and collect the equipment the following day.
To add extra panache to your exclusive experience optional extras are available. These include bean bags, a popcorn machine, additional movie screening and assistance with a movie license should this be required. This starlight experience is available year round. Delivery and collection are free within a twenty-kilometer radius of Johannesburg CBD; additional travel costs will be charged for areas outside of this range.
