Leatherworking Experience
Gift yourself (or someone you love) with a truly unique, bespoke, hand-made leather belt as well as the experience of creating it with the guidance of a talented leatherworker.
Located at The Prison Break Market in Johannesburg, this hands-on experience is limited to a maximum of two people per workshop, keeping the class intimate and allowing for individual attention.
Choose between black and brown leather for your design and savour the fact that no one else in the world will have the same belt as you do, as no two items will ever be the same. You’ll learn how to saddle-stitch and gently emboss the damp leather to your own design amongst a host of other, useful, leatherworking tips and tricks.
Once the workshop draws to an end, you will be able to take your finished leather belt home with you. But before you do so, we recommend that you explore the rest of the market, at your leisure. With craft beers, food and little stalls galore – the perfect way to end off your day!
