River Rafting with a Game Drive through Lion & Safari Park
Upon arrival at the Lion & Safari Park you will be met by your rafting guide. From here you will take a 20-minute drive through the Lion Park to the river. On this trip you stand a chance to see lions, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, giraffes, zebras and a variety of buck.
Once you have reached the river you will receive a safety briefing and pair up with your rafting partner to board your inflatable boat. Here the wet ‘n wild fun begins.
You can expect at least 6 class 1, 2 rapids. Your water trip is about 7km long and lasts for around 2.5 hours. With a refreshment and snack break half way through the trip, your thirst is catered for.
As you reach the end of your rafting journey you will disembark your raft, enjoy a beer, cider or soft drink to celebrate your exertions and will be taken back to your vehicle. This experience is certainly a bucket-list experience you don’t want to miss!
