Self-Fly Helicopter Introductory Lesson
- 30minute helicopter flying lesson
- Fly over the Cape Winelands
Have you always wanted to learn how to fly a helicopter? This introductory lesson puts YOU behind the controls with a hands-on guided flying lesson from a qualified chopper instructor and pilot.
Allowing for extra time on the ground to get to grips with a bit of practical theory behind how a helicopter flies, you’ll enjoy a full introduction before being allowed to take the controls in a dual-controlled environment of an R22 helicopter.
This introductory lesson will cover some of the rudimentary basics of flying a helicopter and hopefully spark a desire to learn even more or get your helicopter pilot’s license. This experience takes place from Winelands Airport which allows for a relaxed and laid-back environment to first discover how to pilot a helicopter.
