An Unforgettable Family Affair
This magical experience includes a return helicopter ride, private game drive and optional lunch.
Departing from Rand Airport, your private Bell Longranger helicopter will fly you to the game park, situated north of Pretoria. The park forms part of the Dinokeng Game Reserve and is malaria free.
On arrival at the airport you will be warmly greeted by the ground staff and make your way to the waiting helicopter. After a short safety briefing you will be safely strapped in and be on your way. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes, more than enough time to relax and enjoy the views, to arrive in style at the game lodge. Upon your arrival, head on over to the lodge reception where you will be introduced to your game ranger guide for your private game drive experience. The reserve boasts the Big 5 with buffalo having also been introduced in 2012, so be sure to take along your camera to capture all the sights. There will be light refreshments available during the drive.
When you return to the lodge there will still be time for lunch, for your own account, before you board the helicopter for your return journey. The restaurant, offering light meals and an á al carte menu, overlooks a small dam and offers spectacular bushveld views. Finally, after a fabulous few hours of making wonderful safari memories, you’ll be shuttled back to the heli pad for your return flight to Rand Airport.
