Guests are guided on foot through The Elephant Sanctuary where the Guides will provide in-depth information and insight into African elephants.

You will be introduced to our elephants in the forest area, and here you will be able to touch and interact with the elephants.  You will observe first hand the special relationship that the elephant handlers share with their elephants and become a part of this unique interaction.

You will even have the opportunity to walk trunk -in-hand with  the elephants and  see the stables where the elephants sleep at night. Guests learn about elephant anatomy and are able to feed them.

Should you book the 08h00 Elephant Experience, you will have the opportunity of helping brush the elephants down.

• Who | This experience is for an adult who is reasonably fit.

• What to take | Please wear long trousers with flat closed shoes. Remember to take sun precautions and a camera.
