Enjoy a lovely night’s stay with dinner at this 4-star lodge and remember to get some decent shut-eye because in the morning you’ll be up before dawn to travel to the launch site of your exclusive hot air balloon flight.
The early start is all so worthwhile as you arrive at the meeting point, you’ll receive a friendly welcome from your pilot and a warm beverage to sip as you watch the magic of the pre-launch preparations and inflation of the balloon unfold before your eyes.
Once the balloon has been inflated, you’ll be able to board with your loved one alongside you and begin your magical journey flying above the Cradle of Humankind with views of the scenic Magaliesberg mountains. Exact route is weather and wind dependent.
After a breathtaking hour of floating above a picturesque landscape, the pilot will gently lower the balloon back down to the ground. In keeping with tradition, once you have safely landed, the flight will be celebrated with sparkling wine and orange juice.
