The early start is all so worthwhile as you arrive at the meeting point, you’ll receive a friendly welcome from your pilot and a warm beverage to sip as you watch the magic of the pre-launch preparations and inflation of the balloon unfold before your eyes.
Once the balloon has been inflated, you’ll be able to board with your loved one alongside you and begin your magical journey flying above the Cradle of Humankind with views of the scenic Magaliesberg mountains. Exact route is weather and wind dependent.
After a breathtaking hour of floating above a picturesque landscape, the pilot will gently lower the balloon back down to the ground. In keeping with tradition, once you have safely landed, the flight will be celebrated with sparkling wine and orange juice. You will then be taken back to the lodge to enjoy a delicious, full buffet breakfast and be presented with a certificate from the pilot – the perfect ending to the perfect experience, wouldn’t you say?
