Treat your love to  special one-on-one time in the tranquil surrounds of nature, followed by a romantic overnight stay.  This experience is perfect for a unique date night experience, proposal idea, birthday or anniversary celebration, or just because…

 Couples are taken out on horseback by a guide on an amazing 2 hour wildlife horseback safari through the Silkaatnek Nature Reserve near Hartebeespoort.
After and hour into the trail, you  stop at a beautiful surprise set up.
A bottle of non alcoholic sparkling wine, bunch of flowers, a box of chocolates plus a snack platter is awaiting. (Couples are welcome to bring own alcoholic drinks and additional extras in a backpack).
  You will have about 40 minutes to enjoy the spoils and tranquility before your guide returns to escourt you back to the stables, about 20 minutes ride back to base  20 minutes away
After your return to the stables, you will drive to Château la Mer, an exclusive guesthouse (only 10kms away).  This is an up-market French inspired home, which is family owned and managed.

NEED TO KNOW..
  • Allow two hours for your private horseback ride, starting @ 3:30pm.
  • Available to book from Monday – Saturday only.
  • Flowers, chocolates, snack platter and champagne provided for the horseback experience.
  • Dress: Comfortable clothing, long stretchy pants, closed shoes.
  • This is a private sunset ride for two adults only.

  • Dinner and beverages are excluded.
  • This is a self drive package.
  • Maximum weight limit per rider is 95kgs

We’ve spent a lot of time and effort on tailoring this package to be a beautiful experience. However, we understand that one size does not fit all and are more than happy to make changes and suggestions to suit your needs and preferences. We do however charge an upfront fee of R1000 for additional quoting to cover increased overheads in doing so. This fee is fully deductible from your final invoice should you proceed with a booking but is otherwise non-refundable should you decide not to go ahead with our services.
